Take action if you love them!

Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. They will be like the messengers of heaven.

You are reading this Divine Note, so you are now responsible for taking action to bring people you love to Christ!

If you've ever loved and enjoyed the beauty of great relationships, you know that deep satisfaction loved ones bring to our ordinary lives. Those people who know what you're going to say before you say it. Those people who love you when you mess things up. Those people who know you and love your little quirks. I’m talking about friends, family and spouses – all relationships.

Well...just imagine heaven! If you've ever experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit, you know what I mean. It's life changing – there’s nothing like it!

Imagine that – but magnified and incomprehensible to our human imagination. Heaven will be million times more glorious than we can conceive! And we will be like angels! What a thought!

Do it now!  Share how Jesus changed your life! Keep doing it like my grandmother did with me! She was relentless about how The Lord could change my life!

And He did in His timing!

But she planted the seed in my heart and I yearn for eternity in His presence.

14 They will be like trees
that stay healthy and fruitful,
    even when they are old.
15 And they will say about you,
“The LORD always does right! God is our mighty rock.”

Sin on the journey

Before I know it, sin drips from my mouth and floods my mind. Oh the struggle.
Romans 7:22-23 I love to do God’s will so far as my new nature is concerned; but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. In my mind I want to be God’s willing servant, but instead I find myself still enslaved to sin. So you see how it is: my new life tells me to do right, but the old nature that is still inside me loves to sin. Oh, what a terrible predicament I’m in! Who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free.
My current struggle is in not easily recognizing the extent of my sinfulness. I can easily preach it, but continuous righteous living eludes me.
Ouch. It hurts. I reveal this because I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul, but the sinner in me wins. It's the same struggle the A…
