A taste of kingdom come on earth

A taste of kingdom come on Earth

At 3:15 a.m. the power of  one loud and unexpected thunderbolt awakened me. It happened in an instant, and it rattled my world for the next hour as I monitored conditions as part of my after hour job duties.

The powerful thunder ushered in a serene rain. In the morning, fall temperatures finally arrived to make themselves at home for a few months. Everything looked so calm and beautiful.

I saw a taste of how it will be when Jesus comes in the clouds!

1 Thessalonians 4:16 On that day, with a command that thunders into the world, with a voice of a chief heavenly messenger, and with a blast of God’s trumpet, the Lord Himself will descend from heaven; and all those who died in the Anointed One, our Liberating King, will rise from the dead first.

In a flash everything will change!

Life as we know it will cease to exist.

Everything will be renewed and we will see the face of our beloved Savior!

Come, Lord, come!

Houston - we have a problem
I confess that before the 2016 presidential election, I wasn’t interested or concerned about participating in government or politics.
That changed on Nov. 8, 2016.
It’s now painfully clear how important it is to know what our elected politicians are doing on local, state and national levels. It’s time to shake ourselves out of complacency. We must be involved in directing our basic American rights, our policing, our healthcare, our financial lives and more. Our families depend on us.
The best way to do this is to get to know your elected officials and to vote.
Consider running for office or supporting someone you think has the gifts to be a politician. Our families are in crisis, our healthcare is in crisis, immigrant families are in danger and law enforcement may not be serving the interests of people of color   We need people who serve the interests of the majority of our communities
These are my recommendations: Get together with your family, friends and…

America will never be normal

Nothing stops real love!

Romans 8:38-39 For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.

Feelings can lead us down torturous paths. Next time you face a daunting crisis whether it's in your mind or real --stop.
Remember that nothing stops the love of Jesus.
It's yours free!
There's nothing you did to earn it! And it will not be withdrawn from you!
 It's called GRACE!

"We may feel at times that God has departed us from us, but that is when we have to believe his Word rather than our feelings." ~ RC Sproul
