Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...Ephesians 1:3-10

Divine Note #16 – April 20, 2009

Ephesians 1:3-10 (New Century Version)
Spiritual Blessings in Christ
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world.4 That is, in Christ, he chose us before the world was made so that we would be his holy people—people without blame before him.5 Because of his love, God had already decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. That was what he wanted and what pleased him,6 and it brings praise to God because of his wonderful grace. God gave that grace to us freely, in Christ, the One he loves.7 In Christ we are set free by the blood of his death, and so we have forgiveness of sins. How rich is God's grace,8 which he has given to us so fully and freely. God, with full wisdom and understanding,9 let us know his secret purpose. This was what God wanted, and he planned to do it through Christ.10 His goal was to carry out his plan, when the right time came, that all things in heaven and on earth would be joined together in Christ as the head.

This Scripture says what is in my heart today. I feel very humbled that I am the recipient of so much grace and so much love from the Creator of the universe. This week be comforted and know that God is real and that He loves you like no one will ever love you! He has a plan for your life, which He reveals when you ask for deliverance (salvation). If you’ve asked for salvation, then you need to move on up to do the work of our Father. You can’t stay on the same step. You must climb the stairs and open the door so others can step into the powerful life that only He can provide!

Divine Notes have taken an interesting turn as our God is asking us to read and know Scripture, so we can understand His messages. You are encouraged to take time from your busy life to read or listen to the Bible so you can get answers to life’s questions. My life changed when I started doing that. I carry the Bible with me everywhere; it’s my lifeline and the builder of my relationship with the Savior of my life. It gives me the confidence I need to live a great life! I will be sharing key Scriptures and personal prayers to encourage you to pray and read the Bible, so you can walk in the power of the Holy Spirit through the ups and downs of life!

Dear Father!
It feels so right to call you Father because you are the only Father I’ve ever known. Regardless of the things I say or do, you smile and you say, “Blanca, get over it, it’s a new day!” Thank you for your tenderness and for the way you show up when I have questions, doubts or fears. You parted the sea for your chosen and you did it for me! Why? You are real in my life and I need you every second - of every hour - of every day – all of the years of my life on Earth. Never leave me my God! Don’t let me leave you Overseer of my soul! Thank you Dear Father for allowing me to know that you have always been with me and that you love me. You’ve never abandoned me even when I ignored you. You’ve given meaning to my life on Earth. I love you Sweet Jesus! All I write is for the glory of Jesus Christ who transformed my life. I am not who I was and I thank you great God!

Feel Big God Hugs this week!
Love,
Blanca

When it hurts to care – Psalm 31:7

When it hurts to care – Psalm 31:7
Psalm 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. One of God’s gifts to me is the ability to care about and pray for those who are ill. But right now, my mother is at the end of her life, and another key person in my life recently received bad health news. I also follow the Facebook journey of a courageous 12-year old girl, Jessie Rees, who suffered from two inoperable brain tumors. She passed away a few days ago. I am sad.

But it’s interesting that in my sadness, I’ve come to appreciate how God works my faith steps. Before I decided that God’s purpose for me was greater than my own purpose, I had a hard time being close to people because it hurt that they might die or leave me. God opened my understanding (and healed me) so that I could come to terms with that and step into the gifts of compassion he planned for me. I started to feel that familiar hurt earlier this we…

Moments with God: When all you can do is cry. Luke 7:36-40

July 7, 2013 Remember the story of the woman who poured oil over the feet of Jesus, wept and kissed him? Luke 7:36-40 The Voice
Once a Pharisee named Simon invited Jesus to be a guest for a meal. Picture this: Just as Jesus enters the man’s home and takes His place at the table, a woman from the city—notorious as a woman of ill repute—follows Him in. She has heard that Jesus will be at the Pharisee’s home, so she comes in and approaches Him, carrying an alabaster flask of perfumed oil. Then she begins to cry, she kneels down so her tears fall on Jesus’ feet, and she starts wiping His feet with her own hair. Then she actually kisses His feet, and she pours the perfumed oil on them.
That's how I felt.  Yesterday I had a memorable “point in time.”  My ear tuned to a melody:  “The King of Heaven’s Armies is right here by my side. “   Tears trickled down my cheeks unexpectedly. The Lord knows my real heart (and your real heart, too).  There’s no hiding. In that perfectly overwhelming moment i…
