Head for the hills, or you’ll die along with everyone else. Go! Don't look back! There’s no going back. The story of Lot and his wife fascinates because many of us can’t help but continue to remember and stay in pasts that have been forgotten in God’s eyes. God is a place of safety, but our flesh is torn between here and now instead of eternal bliss. Living a life that’s focused on God is such a privilege. June 3, 2012 John 6:30 Many of his disciples said, “This is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it?” How many of you have turned away from the Lord? How many of you have felt the miraculous power of his healing love yet you’ve decided to chalk it up to an episode? You may think or feel like this but you must remember that Christianity is a walk with the living God and a way of life. Jesus is the life-blood that runs through our veins. Apart from our connection to God, we can’t live a sustainable life. Atheists will want you to prove it and other religions will add puff and fluff to make you feel better, but the fact remains that without Jesus, you and I have an underwhelming life. Accept him or not. God understands you. But consequences don't change.
