Encouraging Scriptures for everyone

During March I posted Scriptures each day honoring my daughter’s birthday. My sole purpose in doing this is to remind her and now you that our every need is answered by God and we see evidence of it in His word, the Bible.   Proverbs 22:6. I am thankful for God’s wisdom - 1 Corinthians 1:19, 20, 21, 25

November 4, 2011 1 Corinthians 1:19, 20, 21, 25 19 Scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will reject the intelligence of intelligent people.” 20 Where is the wise person? Where is the scholar? Where is the persuasive speaker of our time? Hasn't God turned the wisdom of the world into nonsense? 21 The world with its wisdom was unable to recognize God in terms of his own wisdom. So God decided to use the nonsense of the Good News we speak to save those who believe. 25 God's nonsense is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength. At 17, I thought that I had all the wisdom anyone could ever want. The pattern continued throughout my life. I confused personal drive, intelligence, personality, savvy-ness and even my gift of empathy and caring with wisdom.
