Isaiah 1:18-20 - The Message Come. Sit down. Let's argue this out." This is God's Message: "If your sins are blood-red, they'll be snow-white. If they're red like crimson, they'll be like wool. If you'll willingly obey, you'll feast like kings. But if you're willful and stubborn, you'll die like dogs." That's right. God says so. It’s hard to say I’m sorry when I don’t acknowledge my sins. Perhaps it’s pride that stops many of us from asking for forgiveness from those we offend or hurt. The longer we stay away or keep from making amends, the further away we get from God. When we get away from God, we make excuses, we take further steps into the pit and then we excuse and tolerate our sins and the sins of others. Very soon, sin isn’t sin; it’s just the way the world operates. The sin/guilt cycle begins - we stop reading the Bible, praying or having a close relationship with the Lord. The enemy clouds ...

Divine Note #54 – July 17, 2010 Choose the most loving response – Colossians 3:13-14 Colossians 3:13-14 13 Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you. 14 Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together. Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit has been the most rewarding yet challenging way of life for me. The Christian life is undoubtedly the best life one can ever live, but I am here to tell you that I do battle with my flesh and my heart many times. Lately I’ve been thinking of the importance of relationships. Our lives are made up of relationships with family, friends, coworkers, business associates, acquaintances, neighbors, service providers, government agencies and all who are not covered in those categories.
